On the farm no one learns what lazy is. When you are first born they put it on record that you are already 12 years old so you can go to work sooner….and it works.
Growing up on a farm chores were a part of life from a very early age. But I remember my first “extra money” job I got from my grandpa: unloading a trailer of coal for heating the garage. I know the trailer held about a ton. Took me two weekends to shovel all of that into the hopper. I was proud of myself and happy with whatever he paid me. Can’t remember how much it was but it was the most money I’d ever seen – probably $10 but, knowing my grandpa it might have been a 20. A fortune for a kid in the 60s.

Michael, I think you are basically lazy like a lot of kids your age… ;)

You’ll never get extra cash, Michael, with that attitude.

If Michael was asked to work side by side with his dad, he would learn how to work.

-and @"Rebel" (Lucky) Strike- No one is forcing you to read this comic. Don’t like it? Read a different one. There are plenty.
