If you want a great ‘60s mix, don’t ask for the obvious artists like the Beatles, the Supremes, Bob Dylan. Tell it you’re into Gary Lewis and the Playboys and you’ll get a much better variety.

If my dad were still alive, he’d love today’s strip. RIP, Dad.

Atlanta’s “classical music station” is not much, so we listen to WCLV in Cleveland and WDAV in Charlotte and Classical South Florida. The unregulated internet is a good thing.

My wife’s favorite activity, cooking and listening to the Contemporary Blues station on Pandora, no rock and roll without the blues.

People who want to listen to oldies (50s through the 80s) have some great options in internet radio stations. Atlantic 2NG (2 nations’ gold), Hawaiian Pacific Radio, The Big L, KYA (out of San Francisco), and Sunshine Gold are just five of them.

Can’t go wrong with the classics!
