Ripley's Believe It or Not! San Diego comic book artist Patrick Yurick has blank cartoon panels tattooed on his arm, in which he draws a news comic strip daily with washable ink! A fertile farm field may contain as many as 1.7 million earthworms per acre! The Queen of England does not require a driving license or license plates to drive a car, and is exempt from wearing a seat belt.

I would hate to see a constable pulling over Her Majesty for driving without any of those things and mistaking her for some other old lady.

it’s not that she’s a really good driver (she probably never drives herself anywhere) Rather that she can make you disappear if you cross her

And a Republic would be a great thing to happen here in Oz.

So if your kid argues with you about wearing a seatbelt, you can justifiably say, “Who do you think you are? The Queen of England?”

It’s good to be queen…

She probably hasn’t driven since WWII. As queen, she is chauffered everywhere, so she doesn’t need a driver’s license, and probably has gotten pretty rusty on how to drive.

I heard that she has a golden toilet that goes with her whenever she travels.

The Queen can exempt herself from wearing a seat belt but sadly, she cannot exempt herself from the laws of physics.

Two birthdays? Does than mean she’s over 170?

I remember several of those … and I don’t even like royalty (British or any other).

Most upper-class in Europe have designated drivers, partly because in some countries traffic fines are not fixed, but based on a percentage of your yearly income!Just as in the Army – most Generals are quite capable of driving a car/jeep, but in case of accident, it makes moresense to have a pfc tied up in traffic courts than a Gen.

The coronation was headline news, but there was a problem. At that time, before satellites, TV could not cross the oceans. So, our major networks sent film crews over, and then the race was on!!!The films were processed and edited in flight in a race to get them back to NYC and on our network TV!(Anyone recall which network was first?)

Nice gimmick,Patrick! Do a Christmas strip with zits as Christmas lights! Or use your moles and freckles as dog noses and eyes. Stupid.

I like the comic idea. I wouldn’t get a permanent for the panels, partly because my ideas don’t call for the same number and size every time, but otherwise…

It’s not that there’s a special law that says she doesn’t need a seatbelt, it’s that, as the monarch, she’s automatically immune to most laws because (theoretically), the laws come from her. (Theoretically, Parliament only gives her their advice.)

The reason her majesty doesn’t need a driver’s license or license plates and is exempt from wearing a seat belt is because she would NEVER drive herself anywhere! She rides in the back seat of a chauffeured vehicle and doesn’t need a seat belt (though it certainly wouldn’t kill her to wear one).

I believe she does not have a passport either, nor does she carry money.

That’s what I mean. Most laws don’t require that back seat passengers over a certain age wear a seat belt. But the laws in my parents’ car, MY car, and a my friend’s car DO dictate ALL passengers wear a seat belt.
