It certainly looks atmospheric, even if it doesn’t feel that way to them. But since a campfire isn’t an option right now, candles would probably do nicely; they could create lots of spooky shadows.
This “ghost story” is an OLD one. You can tell by the phrase, “dangling from the door handle”. Cars today don’t have that type of handle. In the 50’s, when I was a kid, all cars had them.
