ooooooooooo dear – i know that feeling! over the years my dear tummy suffered a lot of gastronomic “takeway” torture…. finally had to learn to cook like my mum – no options!!!

My Mum used to sing through most of her cooking sessions. I’d love to be like Rose and “hear” my Mum cooking again.

My kids always loved it when I “made a mess” in the kitchen. Hmmm. They still do actually.

reminds me, I need to start prepping the ham. My food is much more boring, tho, I don’t talk to it.

that generation knew how to make good soup. not the baby boomers and everyone afterwards.

Our mom didn’t know how to cook. She’d serve us half cooked baked chicken, as an example. Couldn’t understand why my brother and I’d go buy and eat a cooked crab at the bait shop in Seal Beach and then didn’t have an appetite at dinner time.
