The thing to do if you want help, is to tolerate towels being folded differently.

If you want a job done right, do it yourself.

I solved this kind of problem with my girls in this manner…I would show them how I wanted it done and worked with them to make sure they knew how. Afterwards if it wasn’t done correctly I would have them redo it and tell them next time they will fold or wash or clean the entire closet, cabinet, floors, whatever job it was that they did not do correctly. Only took once for me to follow through with my threat.

Thanks David, my sentiments exactly. My issue wasn’t with my kids, but my husband. (the kids folded towels my way)My husband and I both do laundry but we fold towels differently. If I had complained, early on, about the way he folded towels, his responses would have been ‘OK, you wash and fold them all."If I want his help, I accept that he does some stuff differently. The same worked with our kids, too. Some things are important, but other things just aren’t.It’s about picking your battles.
