I ordered a “loco” taco from a local taco place, shell was red, fillings spicy. Turned out to be too hot for me so I threw it away. Sure enough my dog fished it out of the garbage, by the time I got there I saw him finish it off in two bites. I was both impressed that spicy foods didn’t faze him, and annoyed about his digging in the trash.
I later found out dogs have about 1/4 of the taste buds humans have, they must not have a capsaicin bud.
