I’ve been closely watching a herd of antelope when I go to work. It’s time for them to have babies – they all have them at once, usually around April 1st. Cant wait to see the babies, their sooooo cute.

Atlanta suburbs. Squirrels, bluebirds, cardinals, robins, finches. And when there are deer in the yard, our silent pit bull whines to go play with the big dogs out there.

Forgot, geese flying through. Do chipmunks count? (Sounds like a set up line.)

Deer, foxes, raccoons, and more birds and squirrels than you can count. It’s about time to set out the finch socks and hummingbird feeders.

A pheasant was out following Spot around this morning. The bird has been hanging around for about a year, perches on the deck railing, out front where i feed my other birds.

recently had to stop the car to let a parade of turkeys cross the road. We have a couple of groundhogs living in the backyard, some deer here and there…

There was a moose running next to the road where we were driving. He finally veered off to go back in the woods. They can run pretty fast.

Saw Mr. & Mrs. Mallard Duck in the yard yesterday. They come up from the park by the creek. Squirrrels, woodpeckers, gold finches, etc.

It would be easier to list what doesn’t live around here. Lions, tigers and bears……..Oh My! But the bears are in southern Mo. and somehow the armadillos beat them here..I haven’t seen my black snake yet. He was about 4’ long last year. I did see a 6-7’ long snake sunning on my deck last year. It was a little freaky because I couldn’t identify it then or now. I hope he didn’t eat Blacky!
