Spiders certainly aren’t the only cannibalistic species. Take the praying mantis, for example – I mean, that’s one $@#% up wedding night. And of course, since pigs and chickens aren’t, on the whole, predatory animals, they generally won’t eat another living member of their own family. Male cats, on the other hand, will often kill and eat their own male offspring.

no wonder people have a phobia of spiders. which do you prefer, a phobia of snakes & reptiles, or a phobia of bugs and insects?
