In today’s schools, everyone gets promoted.
In life, there’s always someone one grade above you to pick on you….
Don’t get me started n how North American (i.e. Canadian and American) students don’t appreciate the privilege they have in attending school. At year end at my son’s school 95% of the awards winners were new Canadians. They knew.
It’s not only those in the older grades; just those in your own grade are often more than enough trouble.
