John, ask the Mrs. if your muscles look toner. Wrestling with a mower can be exercise too.

I think Elly is looking for the life before the kids, John is not helping . He probably didn’t have the figure he has now either but we don’t see him asking Elly about how he looks. I know it’s a girl thing to look like the models that are photo shopped..

Maybe this is a good time for John to fake a heart attack.

How about “Yes,” you twit. (And mind the punctuation.)

As has already been mentioned…“Yes! But then, you always look great to me.”Follow that up with a sincere kiss enforced with a firm hug.Advice from 35 years of marriage.C.

Actually, what she asked is a loaded question. You deserve what ever answer you get.

He hesitated. He’s already in trouble, no matter what he says. Same old story — it’s an unwinnable situation.

There’s only one answer to that question, “Yes dear” , the correct answer. I read the venus/mars book. She wants confirmation not your opinion. If I had known that years ago, I’d still be married.

My husband has always told me that he’s “blinded by my beauty” but I don’t have any need to fish for compliments. Even after 26 years together, he’s always quick to tell me every day how beautiful I still am to him . . . just as he’s always still so handsome to me!!!!! ;-)

When it comes to being honest I’ve learned two things over 5+ decades in life, One, if you ask 100 people whether they’d prefer honesty or hearing what they want to hear, 99 will say “Honesty.” Two, of those 99, at least 98 of them will get mad at you sometime BECAUSE you were honest with them.

The moral of the story: John, just say “Yes” whether you mean it or not. Honesty rarely matters as much as people say it does.
