I was born in L.A., and have been thru lots of earthquakes. Worst was the Tehachapi one in the 50s. My bed was on casters and whipped from dresser to wall a couple of times!

2old I am also a LA native now living in northern Calif. The big quake in the early 70’s is the one I remember best-and the one up here in 89. Much better than tornados or hurricanes as far as I am concerned.

Sunland Ca native here now in New England. I will never forget the February 9, 1971 Sylmar/San Fernando quake although many have.

Not many earthquakes in the FL panhandle. Had to visit CA to evxperience one! Back to the strip: that cheeky cat’s karma finally caught up with him.

What a great neighborhood you live in. If I did anything like that, the cops would be here but not to listen to the music. And no food would be involved. Glad it went over well despite not getting any revenge.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and virtual gifts, but if I am the Linda in question, my bday was in January and I was in the hospital then. Just prior to the triple by-pass. But, I do think the gifts and cakes and cat pics today are adorable!!Been a busy day. Ruth is better and while she cleaned up a little, I made us sausage gravy and my homemade biscuits for breakfast. Then we went to the grocery store and stopped at the cutest greek deli and had some amazing pita’s. Gyro’s have never ever tasted as good as those did! Now we are home, everything put away and a good nap has been enjoyed by all…especially Tinker and Belle…lol…I will find a couple of funny pics for you right after I post this…I do hope everyone has a great weekend and MayKitten, your steam organ/calliope sounds wonderful and it also sounds like a good time was had by all…WTG!

Still, it would be nice to see it playing.
