I’m one of those oddballs who actually enjoys cloudy days. Maybe part of it is perverseness; when it’s sunny, everyone and their brother, sister, cousin, and possibly dog kvells about what a beautiful day it is, whereas I often find that relentless brightness overbearing. But they don’t say that when it’s cloudy, even if it isn’t raining, so I feel as if I can have the day all to myself, and thus enjoy it.
