Mothers seldom want to disparage their kid’s gifts. It’s a bit like your cat bringing a dead mouse into the kitchen for your approval. It’s the thought that counts. :-)

Not sure how or if that has anything to do with the comic … but dragon mother is a ‘thing’ with a meaning beyond Game of Thrones.
