It’s far better to rip out the useless “well mown lawn” and, instead of a meadow, plant vegetables, maybe some flowers for visual appeal. Provides fresh, nutritious food for the family, (FAR better than any market can) still clears the air, provides oxygen and binds carbon, (the last even better than a lawn can). I find my garden easier to maintain than a lawn too.
