    He is reading about a character that dealt with a spider, and he is surrounded by (presumably) live spiders (Fiction and Nature collide).

    Another factoid of the day – Brian did get the name correct, as well: Stan Lee added a hyphen between the words so the character would not be confused with Superman, hence Spider-Man.

    I don’t mind spiderwebs in the woods as long as they’re not woven directly across the path for people to use to walk through the woods!Some spiders have no manners.
