There is a saying in English – It takes a village to raise a child. The cartoonist here was playing on that phrase to say – it takes a village for her to get ready as well.

It took her a village to get ready for her date. The entire beauty salon, manicure, pedicure, hair color, wash shampoo….Damn bachelor!
