The Beandocks Supreme Court newsflash: No Affirmative Action is needed in the new United States of Oligarchy. We will stick with the system that has been serving us well for hundreds of years. Only your privilege and not your hardship will be factored in!
What needs to be done is transparency… with both grades and need plus help with the SAT (because not everyone, including European-Americans, has the resources…and study-time…that “privileged” students have, no matter their color.) OK, I’m ducking my head… ;)
In spite of Eisenhower’s clear warning about the military-industrial complex, the oligarchy remains firmly ensconced in power, whether or not the president of one party or the other gets elected.
A classic example of misdirection: Don’t look here at the endless growth of government power; look over there at all those “oligarchs”.
A billionaire can’t make you do anything you don’t choose to; the government simply gives you no choice.
If that’s hard for you to understand, just compare “XXXX my XXXX and I’ll give you a million dollars” versus “XXXX my XXXX or I’ll blow your brains out”.

I wish people would understand Affirmative Action better. Most who don’t like it don’t understand it.

Why should a minority bump a more qualified person from a college, job etc.?
