I’m going to delay the exciting animation series ’Raiders of the Lost Kibble" until next Friday.

but if you got here AFTER seeing today’s animation, you already know that.

When I saw what Stel posted for Thursday, (Cleo on the slopes in Norway) I couldn’t resist.

Shot down by the Red Baron, no doubt.

    Hi everybody!

We’re here, or will be, to comment on

the Jan 17th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can once again… YAY!… find on Sherpa…

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

After not being able to access GoComics at all last night, I’m amazed to find myself the first one here tonight …

not counting Nighthawks, who cheated, by arriving long before the turn….

or anybody who shows up while I’m typing this…. which is quite possible, cos I’m slow and verbose.

In any case, it’s a relief to find that I can get on the comics (knock wood).

BTW… since I didn’t get to comment last night…. and today’s strip is also about skiing….

I’m with Happyx3… I’ve never figured out why people want to hurtle down hills strapped to boards….

especially long, skinny, pointy, hard to control boards that actively try to kill them.

They glide too fast, steer off in different directions, twist, and do everything else in their power to kick off their riders….

usually up on some desolate mountain where no one who can’t ski can rescue them.

I’d say I’ll be down at the lodge, sipping brandy-spiked hot chocolate …. but no…

That’s in the snow as well…. so I’ll stay here.

You note that Cleo, too, is wise enough to actually be indoors.

Better yet, I’ll have my hot chocolate sitting by the fire at the Tiki….

which is almost right next door….

and via internet magic, only a few blocks at most from your house, too.

Let’s meet there today and talk about Cleo.

The agony of defeat? Looks more like the agony of de-head. It’s Claude’s fault. He should have been there to catch her. Only two more days till I start my new job and won’t be able to post till the afternoon. A least it pays good.

As Cleo was rotating I was already hearing Jim McCay’s voice. Well done to Nighthawks and Stel Bel Productions.

And thank you for the memory.

I love skiing, at least in part because of the element of danger in it. I’m not good, so the extreme slopes are off-limits and ski-jumping is a clear sign of insanity. Even the expert skiers I know will have nothing to do with ski-jumps. Those folks be loco.

We merged 2 offices at work and have spent the last 2 days moving an entire medical office down one floor. I got over 17,000 steps yesterday and over 16,000 today. My office is mostly ready to see patients on Monday. Our repair/storage area is still a work in progress. None of my diplomas or certificates are up as the administrator is still deciding on standard picture hangers versus the Command ones (less damage to the walls).
