Why the &@$# would it be illegal to fly drones commercially? Is the government afraid the beer-delivery drone is going to accidentally grow machine guns and terrorize the populace? I think the worst possible thing it could do is crash into something important, and cars, helicopters, and planes are all legal. I think someone needs to deposit a reality check.

What has just happened in Europe? I’m from the UK, and would be interested to know what you have heard.

I’m from Mn and don’t want those stupid things flying around causing problems.Could run into a car causing traffic jams.Smash into a window.Cross paths with a plane landing taking off..Could you imagine what the world would be like with thousands of those little *&^% flying around?.There’s actually techs whose figured out a way to jam the GPS signal etc.

Drones can be flown for commercial processes, but must be guided by a certified pilot, a flight path has to be filed and approved or be restricted to private property with proper notification..

One definition of drone is “parasitic loafer”. No wonder Rat loves them!

@daveB4 I wouldn’t say that they "won"as that implies that tthe moderates are out. Check what happened in Italy. Or Germany (where I live). But the far right and left did gain seats. Democracy on action—interesting to see where it all goes from here and what conversations are gong to be had!

Have you printed up papers, too? It is a simple note to put under certain windshield wipers- “I’m sorry to inform you but someone defaced your car. It was not me. It make take some work to get the blasted thing off and until then people will get the wrong idea of your intelligence level. Please act soon or people will think you actually support Barack. The ban on commercial use of drones won’t last long. There are too many legitimate uses for small to med sized drones.

The irony here is that the Federal government doesn’t want commercial drones interfering with their own drones.

Federal law should only apply if the drones are flown over a specific height.
