JPuzzleWhiz: When the Dallas Public Library first started using computers, they were generally “down”. I finally said, “You know, in all my years, I never had a card catalog drawer jam.”
waiting to use said computer can taken a lot longer than using the card catalogue. .Chapters has computers for their customers to use to find a book. Handy things. But I still end up asking staff – where a certain section is located once I have the info from the computer.
I’m not sure, but I think they may actually be in a bookstore, that would explain shy they have some books on display. When I worked at Borders the self help books were in the psychology section, but if she’s looking for the dummies or complet idiot guides they’re probably in the section they’re suppose to be helping you with.
