Good morning Vagabonds.Weather was perfect yesterday, 82, and will be the same for today. Then rain for two days and then back to good for the rest of the week.

Howdy Vagabonds..Looks like another nice day in the NEK, but T-storms mixed in..David, sounds like a good plan to me..Saw a good old movie yesterday, “Son of Lassie”. Taking place in WWII England and Norway. We never hear a lot about Scandinavia during WWII but, I guess there was a lot going on up there..Enjoy your day Vagabonds, have fun..ttfn

More and more information is coming out lately about the underground resistance movement in Denmark.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I remember reading a story when I was a young teen about how a Scandinavian town’s stash of gold was rescued from the Nazis by the children hiding it on their toboggans as they played and taking it past the checkpoints to a safe place. I don’t remember much about the details, but it was supposed to be a true story.

I’m going to stop commenting on triple digit weather around here until things cool down in the fall. No point in saying the same thing every day.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Glad to be back home. Always great to be “away”, but home is always great to be back to!

Jan, do you know a little about the history of the Chinese in Spokane? Everywhere we went on our trip, there were Asian Restaurants! I’d say, out of about 50 restaurants we saw, 40 were Chinese! I would think the Asian population would be very high. Perhaps they came for the mining in the 1800’s?
