Good morning, vagabonds. yesterday I made plane reservations for myself and my Uyghur friend for Miami for when he comes to NY. There were only 2 low-price seats availlable.

Still copying videos (Now it’s “Scaramouche”) and preparing for a corner of my room that needs to be plastered today.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Forgot to mention our “voting” experience……….way back when we lived in So.Cal., we used to walk to our polling place a few blocks from home. Then, we moved here, and had to drive to a local school about 5 miles from home. Well, they reapportioned our district, and we now have to drive 14 miles one way to our polling place. It is a beautiful drive through the countryside, and then to a very small schoolhouse. But……absolutely gorgeous! However, for the next election, we may opt for voting via absentee ballot because that narrow 2 lane road gets lots and lots of ice and snow.

    Great weather up here, too.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, when we moved to Victorville, we opted for absentee ballots permanently. It was a lot easier to sit at our kitchen table and discuss the issues and then mail the ballots. We can’t do that in Nevada, or at least we haven’t figured out how. We do have early voting here, though. They set up polling places at the local malls (all season) and grocery stores, schools & senior centers (1 or 2 days each). We have voted at the mall more than once.

Mark, is that empty attic syndrome contagious? It seems to be spreading to Nevada…….
