Van Halen? Van Halen??? Good grief! Van Halen is far, far to noisy and obnoxious for a true plugger!

Give us Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Gould Orchestra, Johnny Mann, Henry Mancini, Andy Williams, and all their peers.

Forget this ‘rock’ stuff. It is not real music!

I never knew the name of that song or who did it. Now I’ll see about forgetting it.

I’m amazed a plugger would actually have a car advanced enough to have a cassette player. Now, an 8-track maybe; but a cassette player?

I had a car that was a “transition” model….had both cassette and CD player….

Van Halen is to NEW for a REAL Plugger!

The local radio station I used to work at had a policy that assumed that no-one under 65 listened to it’s music. I tried to point out that Hendrix and the Stones would have been more appropriate than Daniel O’Donnell and similar music..I left shortly after.

I have a news flash for you Lassie 1. I’m a 60 year old plugger, NOT IN A NURSING HOME and I like the big band sound. And yes, I love Harry Connick Jr. , Michael Buble and Josh Groban. They do a great job with the standards. So, a Big LOL to you!

To this day that song by Van Halen makes me dance! So does Pharrell Williams song Happy, and I am 60! So much for age! It’s all a matter of what you like!

Ha, I have some cassettes that I recorded by putting the tape next to the radio and hoped everybody in the house stayed quite.

I have some taped back in February 1975 and now have had them placed on CDs. It’s difficult to find somebody to repair a cassette machine and almost all of mine are OS.
