“To Serve Man”, was an instruction book from a Twilight Zone episode. Turns out it was a cook book!

He does a fair number of alternate history stories as well. In fact, some of his parallel world stories are also alternate histories.

So history does repeat itself, first as tragedy (Antietam) then as farce (Lio)

I guess the alien dropped it.

I foresee courts-martial for the alien courier and for their uniform maker. The question is, what will Lio do with this intel?

This reminds me of the civil war story about the soldier who found a cigar case in a field and in the case there were three cigars and Lee’s secret plans for the next attack on the Union army. The plans made it all the way to General Grant, the three cigars didn’t.
