My parents attended A.A. meetings for years and, when I was a kid, I was taken along with them a lot. “The Serenity Prayer” was a part of every meeting.

If you ever want to find any quote which ever existed in history, you can usually type whatever part you think you remember on the search bar, followed by the word “quote” or “lyrics” if it was part of a song and the search engine will usually show what you actually seek, with spelling corrections, in the first few offerings — along with wild variations like that above.Not always, but usually.

Personally I’ve always liked Red Green’s Men’s Prayer:
