What kind of computer/device are you on right now?
And congrats to the Reuben noms! For those of you who don’t know… they’re like the oscars for cartoonists. If the Oscars were given to nerdy people who never left their houses… and weren’t really all that attractive… and if nobody ever heard of the Oscars. OK, they’re not like the Oscars at all.
Currently on my Dell (2nd replacement for one I bought years ago and even THIS is over a year old). I keep up warranty and Dell is good about replacements (except when they update WIN version, I loose software (like my AutoCAD which is not compatible and I can’t afford to update for the use I’d have of it). Wish I HAD my CAD right now, if only to fit existing furniture into plan for whatever house I buy. I’ve always kept plan updated since I first learned AutoCAD.
Thanks for the tip, Donkey! I will at least (hopefully) be able to open existing DWG files I drew of this house and grab furnishings to fit in new place (which I will draw). Moving is easier when you already know just which pieces of furniture fit.
My son had a 12 year old Compaq whose XP died, so I am reading this on Ubuntu, using an Opera browser. I dual boot Win7 and Ubuntu on my HP desktop. I have only Win7 on my Acer laptop. Big fan of Ubuntu, use it for 90% of my computing.

I’m using an Acer laptop, and today I’ll try to get this house in shape before the Health Department condemns it. (Well, it’s not quite that bad.)
