It’s a different artist entirely. Basset turned this strip over to Rob Harrell, who did the late, lamented “Big Top” strip (available in reruns here on GoComics), in order to devote himself to “Red and Rover”. I like the old art better, too, but it’s still working for me, and the writing has improved since the change.

Here it can snow well into March. Never let your guard down. I remember one year it snowed in April then melted right away the next day when it was 60 some degrees! :O

I think it’s silly that the byline at the top of the strip still says “by Brian Basset”. “Created by…”, fine, but as it is it’s misleading.

“B.C.” now reads “by Mastroianni and Hart”, and over at comics.com “Rose Is Rose” is credited “by Don Wimmer; Created by Pat Brady.” They should do that here…

The writing is light years better. Art is different, but not too much and it fits the upgrade in writing.

    LOL I love it!

In Seattle, two weeks ago it was 12 degrees outside, snowing in some places around the Puget Sound and a few days this week it’s been almost 60 around here! In January! But I think I’ll learn from Adam and keep my mouth shut. ;)

Sorry, I’m still a Brian Basset fan. The new storylines are just lame, and the “bedroom eyes” everyone keeps making are gross!!

    “bedroom eyes” ??? Gross??? LOL.

    What are you talking about?

And for what it’s worth, Adam is my favorite comic now. Better art, writing with some depth and actual humor.
