Ray,
It’s time to fire up the 1993 Monte Carlo with Cassie and head far away from Milford, perhaps Central City where they can have a new start. Perhaps she can attend cosmotoligy school and maybe he will land a gig at a loca pizza factory.
What ever the outcome is, I sense something stupid brewing in Ray’s mind.
I am sensing a teen runaway plot here. Cassie’s parents plan to break these two upmis about to backfire big time.
What would be better would be:
Ray: Why don’t we leave Milford together.
Cassie:No, that’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.
Ray: Why, what do you mean?
Cassie: Uh, Hello! You flip pizzas for a living. Why would I go with you when I can be with the school janitor? He has health insurance, retirement and a garbage can with wheels on it.

Is that blinking light coming out of his forehead in panel 3 knocking Cassie unconscious?

The blinking light didn’t knock her unconscious in panel 3, it’s that tranquilizer dart that’s gotten her right under the ear!
