    I once had a boyfriend who loved soymilk. Until I told him that soy has synthetic female hormones that cause men to grow breasts, and maybe that’s why he was also so overly emotional all the time.

    That relationship didn’t last long.

    His chest is probably bigger than mine by now.

    OMG! It’s not synthetic hormones! It’s a PLANT! Soy has phyto-estrogens that are not nearly as potent as the hormones our bodies make and because they are plant-based the body chooses whether to make use of them, or not at all. Soy is perfectly safe for men and women.

    The soy rumors have gone wildly out of hand. Thank the meat industry which would prefer you have the “real” synthetic hormones they inject the animals with so they get to slaughter weight faster. Apparently those hormones also affect intelligence and the gullibility factor.
