The Beandocks Eddie: What are you texting, Cuco? Cuco: First I'm texting the word "Haiti" to 90999 to donate $10 for the American Red Cross Earthquake Relief. Eddie: And the second thing? Cuco: I'm texting "666" to Pat Robertson. For the hell of it.

Although Christian-bashing is popular for some in the entertainment industry (I suppose it’s “safe” since Christians aren’t supposed to fight back, as opposed to, say, Muslims), Pat Robertson never said God caused the earthquake, just quoted commonly known history of the Bois Caiman pact which occurred a few miles from where I as born and was celebrated each year by voodoo worshipers until a few years ago when local Christians had an all-night prayer meeting and lightning struck and burned up the main spirit tree they’d been worshiping, scattering the voodoo celebrants. Anyone who has messed with witchcraft knows that no good comes of it-bad stuff somehow keeps happening to them. Pat went on to call for contributions to help the Haitians and has sent millions of $ of medications and teams to help. http://www.cbn.com/about/pressreleasepatrobertsonhaiti.aspx

@Rachel. Amazing how you oppose Christian bashing, then turn right around and bash Voodoo and Witchcraft. Oh, they’re not your religions so that’s ok to bash them, just don’t bash yours. The ceremony you speak has nothing to do with being a pact with the Devil. You just view it that way because it’s a Voodoo ceremony (which you obviously condemn) and not a Christian one. No one is bashing Christianity, they’re bash Pat for saying something stupid, ignorant, and out of line and then using the Bible to defend it. Yes, I’m a Christian and my comments to you are out of line, but then so are yours and Pat’s. The problem is neither one of you are willing to acknowledge that.
