Uh, wait… I thought that was Marigold’s ability?

That option seemed to be the one everyone chose when I was a kid. :(

It’s going to the circus and getting cotton candy. I knew it!

It’s going up to the lower stratosphere, where it will burst due to equalising pressure on the inside and outside, it will then fall to the ground (and get eaten by a cow or deer (see note below on turtles)) but most probably the ocean where it will either be eaten by a sea turtle (causing it’s untimely demise) or will be washed up on to the shore of a floating litter island in the Indian ocean, where if might one day biodegrade

It would be nice to think that those litter islands were of some use to nature rather than a danger ;-)

I suspect Marigold will get involved in the balloon’s fate somehow before the end of this storyarc.

How eminently reasonable of Max! “Unless you leave…” Well done, Max! A girl with a Unicorn needs a boy who is so thoroughly grounded. (And before the “what, are you saying a girl NEEDS a boy?” crew chime in…I mean in the scenario where Phoebe, at an appropriate age, begins considering entering into a mature, committed relationship of her choice someone like Max would be a good choice. phew!)

Why does this remind me of the crying, whiny kid from the Spider-Man 2 game?

We already know that Phoebe and Max like each other. But they’re not at the age where “girlfriend/boyfriend” is a concern for them.
