Now How can a company be diverse in its lack of diversity? Is this a play on words or what? Maybe Google’s workplaces are too far from city life where most diverse people tend to like to work. Also, one needs to look at a state’s population diversity…the more white or Asian the population, it stands to reason that there would naturally be more white or Asian employees… ;)

Google revealed this information as a way of holding itself accountable. It then said the status quo was unacceptable, and they were developing a plan to change things in a positive direction. Very few companies would blow the whistle on themselves. Let’s give them credit for that.

RESPECT is earned and is NOT an entitlement. Have Latinos graduate in numbers from Stanford and they do can work in hi tech.

If Asians, Jews and Indians can, why not the Latinos?

Sure, go to night school while mowing lawns during the day. Supercilious much?

Gee, maybe Google hires the most qualified without regard to skin color.

Lalo now adds fuel to the fire in terms of backlash against Asians. We are one of the smallest minorities (numerically) in the USA but he finds it acceptable to exclude us from ‘diversity’ standards.

Lalo = bigot + entitled. Goggle and hi-tech companies hire qualified individuals no matter what their ethnicity. Get a clue, if your qualified your hired. Don’t try to say a business is racist because no qualified individuals of YOUR ethnic group didn’t apply!

That’s right, tip the playing field to your advantage for centuries and then miraculously become “colorblind”.As in, “I got mine, Jack.”
