The Town of Silence, by Jennerto the tune of “The Sound of Silence”, by Simon and GarfunkelFrom April 15, 2013Hello darkness, my old friend. You’ve found the town we call the End.You bring a cloud of condemnation,To lay a shroud as a contagionOn our people, who are hiding from the warAnd so much more,Within the town of silence.I see the people deep inside. They swallow beans, they swallow pride. They live with grief, they live with hunger,And some with shame and some with anger,Against a curse, that eats a human visage whole,But not the soul – The soul remains to silence. And of the people it did damn,Some dream: “I’m human, still I am.Ignore the fur. Ignore the feathers.Pretend you don’t have horns and udders.Hide your parts that make a decent person stare. And comb your hair. And joint the town of silence.”And if you think you have a sayIn how you eat and breathe and play,Prepare to learn your words are worthlessTo power rotten ‘neath the surface. So I stared in the lens, and I challenged the hiding throngTo prove me wrong. It spoke the sound of silence. With gentle people’s lives at stakeFor such a simple thing as cake,Will we accept our evolution?Or stand and watch an execution? While the stooge and the puppet can’t see that our bleeding townIs going down.It is the town of silence. And in a vision mad I sawTen thousand people, maybe more.People screaming out in fury,Tearing down the judge and jury.Tell the pow’r we’re the future and we’re human, so give us voice.Respect our choice.Or reap a town of violence.
ha ha ha! You still aren’t getting this back, and when we turn 14 I’m going to tell all the girls we meet about how you wished they didn’t exist. Have fun with that.

If girls didn’t exist, well besides the fact no one would be alive, there were be a lot of weirdness.
