When I was little we had a pediatrician who would get my mom and older siblings out of the room and then tickle me ferociously, endlessly. I hated him while wondering what was wrong with me that I didn’t think it was funny like he said it was. Mom changed pediatricians.
I’ve told my children that when they were born, I gave each of them some of my tickle spots and that is why I am no longer ticklish and yet I know exactly where their tickle spots are. My eldest found a small ticklish spot on one of my feet, and so proclaimed that I need to have another baby now.
