Oh no !!!!! The Grey Lake dam has overflowed again. That’s the second time this week. Alvin and Dink are gonna get fired. Maybe Emmy Lou and Taffy can bake some brownies for the town while Alvin and Dink fix the dam, again.

While they’re at it, maybe they can do something about that Hyundai ad that pops in at the left side of the screen all the time.

The cure for the Hyundai advertising is a browser add-on called Ad Blocker Plus. It blocks 99% of the ads. I didn’t even realize Go Comics has outside ads.

This has been going on for years on other comics’ web sites as well.

I believe it’s from the, I hope, mistaken belief that you’ll buy from the company whose ad you remember, for whatever reason. This is supposedly the reason that the ads on early TV were loud, flamboyant, and extremely annoying(well, I guess they still are, aren’t they?).

I’ve read other complaints about the “Hyundai advertising”, but I’ve never seen it myself. Maybe because I am also an AdBlock user (as well as Ghostery).

AdBlock works on that social website with the initials ‘eff bee’ as well.
