Yeah, I think four toes would have the least lint. (What looks like the fourth toe [ring toe?] appears to be the leg showing between the third [“middle”] and “pinkie” toes.)
well, he’s got five on the other foot. what’s your point?
my experience is to leave your best foot behind, because the first one forward gets stomped on
