‘Twas the way of the sagas (well, Beowulf, anyway), linguistically—pairs of alliterations abound, in abutting half-lines. I like Hermod’s delivery!
Technically, that’s assonance in the last panel.
Have fun with the quest … Won’t succeed.
There is no way that Sir Dudley is a Scottish Knight. The Dudleys’ roots are in Northumberland and the Midlands. The town of Dudley is a West Midlands town and part of the West Midlands conurbation.
The alliteration is deftly done actually but it can’t compare with Cynghanedd Cymraeg.
“Almost Anglican—”! giggles
Awesome alliteration as always artfully illustrated
Way over my head as well and it is mid afternoon here. Brilliant artwork and story however big brother, I’m lovin’ it. ;:^)
