“Dear sir, I am I am so creative that I do the entire thing in just 6 weeks and I take a vacation the entire rest of the year, but thank you for your concern.”

Does this mean Robb Armstrong is going on vacation too?

One of my biggest pet peeves is people complaining about a week of reruns. Comic strip artists need breaks too!

This reminded me of my m-in-l being upset with her doctor because he was going on vacation. It was like “How dare you?”

Dear Mr. Armstrong,I’ve read and enjoyed your strip since it first appeared in the L.A. Times. But I’ve never written (or commented). Yet today brought up a topic that has been a bit of an irritation to me, and I have to wonder if you’re taking a jab at the cartoonists who DO take “vacations”. Well played, sir. Just a note on this topic: five strips are “on vacation” in the Times this week. Last week I think it was seven. I think vacations are fine and everyone should take them. Just plan ahead. Keep up the excellent work.
