So that explains yesterday’s strip….he was getting up to move closer. Needs glasses.
The front row of a theater is the worst, though. You see entirely too much up there.

In my U.S. Navy projectionist course, they recommended that the audience’s optimum viewing distance was 2-6 times the picture width. Very few multiplex theaters have a room deep enough to cover that range.
