umm.. you get androids from $100 or even less, from the new Vertu at $14k (now as an independent company). Is like PCs, if you need more power, you invest more and get a more expensive PC; now there are even projects where you can build you phone as you used to build a PC, by replacing parts, or changing only what you need (project ARA, for Android)
