Good morning, one and all! This is my last week with the kittens – YAY! I’m SO ready for them to go to their new forever homes. Their little world is about to change dramatically, They are ready to go explore new houses, get cuddled and kissed till they drop. It’s been a challenging 5 weeks but each one has developed its own little personality. I have really appreciated all of the words of encouragement during those first several weeks of litter box challenges. Once they all leave on the 20th, I have 8 days till the next batch arrives.

Does anyone know how the whole “cats can’t spell” meme got started? I think if my cats could write, they would probably be as meticulous about spelling as they are about grooming.
Oh, I’m not going to miss them. I never do – I got to have fun with them, kiss them, play with them, teach them about litter box protocol, etc. Now it’s time to take on the new babies and love them for a while. I called each of the new parents today and they are all very excited about welcoming new members of their families.
WET: my hand is doing better than I expected. I have feeling in all fingers, no more swelling, very little pain. I take one pill at bedtime and one around mid-morning. This splint and bandage is a pain, tho.
