For those who don’t get the reference: John Cleese starred in an English comedy called Fawlty Towers. Whenever anything went wronfg,( and it did, a lot) He would yell, POLLY! They married in 1968 and divorced in 1978.
Good morning; can’t sleep so thought I would drop in.3 of the kittens went to their forever homes yesterday. The last one will go Monday. In order for her not to be lonely, I brought in 5 from another foster mom. These are the ones we drove down to Vegas to pick up last weekend. Even tho they are 10-11 weeks old, they were still wanting to nurse and poor mama was being drained of all nutrients so not gaining weight. Mama is still with the foster mom. We are hoping that she gets rested and starts gaining weight. The man who took his 2 Siamese is thinking about one of the boys – I told him not to make a rush decision. I will have them for 2 more weeks before they go out for adoption. There are 4 grey boys and the little orphan that mama accepted into her brood is a female, white with black spots.
I just took off the bandages and splint from my hand. The stitches are kind of ugly but It’s great to be able to type again! I did put a big band aid over them so I won’t bonk it on things.
I used to watch Fawlty Towers, too. Cleese was great. Back to bed..
They’re going to be broadcasting a performance of what’s said to be the Python’s final tour on Sunday July 20 at 2:30 pm EDT. http://www.fathomevents.com/event/monty-python-live-mostly
Our tiny mama kitty Taffy decided she wanted to go outside, take a break from the kids. I checked on her often and saw she was fine and hanging around. About 25 minutes go by and I looked out the front door to see where she was. To my surprise I saw her eating something on the ground. I’ve seen here take out moths, mice, and last summer, 7 moles from our lawn.I went down the steps to see her latest kill thinking it was a mouse.Nope.It was a rabbit,A full grown rabbit, bigger than her and she had already eaten the front half!I let her finish her hard won prize and she left us the intestines and the stomach as a present.
LOL! Today’s strip is GREAT, even if Flossie is gone! And Fawlty Towers was AWESOME! I did not realize though, that they were married in real life for a time.
This is Linda’s friend Ruth. Linda fainted the other night, and when she woke up, she said she felt like she couldnt get any air. She had a summer cold, and its turned into pneumonia. She is in the hospital on oxygen. She asked me to come tell you at Ten Cats and told me to tell you not to worry, she will be fine. She better be is all I am saying. Your prayers would be appreciated. She really loves this strip and her friends here. I will let you know how she is doing whether its good or bad. Have a lovely day!
Thank you, Ruth…all the best to kind and lovely Linda…. If I don’t comment all the time it’s because I have a tough boss :) and can’t be on the computer much…. ,but bless all of you – May Kitten, Queen of America, Linda, Pierre and Nicole, 2 Old, Dry especially and everyone else – your care for animals is deeply touching ps: Phil posted the Dead Parrot sketch and that must be the reference – it’s a fun one, and of course cats won’t eat cuttlefish so kudos to Graham for finding a worthy replacement in paddlefish!
Happy Saw your comment, my Friend! Yes she has a deep well to draw from and many who care about her in real life and here in our little world! Sleep well my FRIEND! I hope our Girl can do the same and get well quick!

Chesney does seem to be channeling Basil Fawlty.

Flossie has bought the farm. “Now,” she realizes, “I can finally begin to grow cheeseburgers!” We adored Monty Python’s Flying Circus at my house!
