But, of course, so many people don’t believe in climate change, it therefore cannot be true.
Both terms have been in use for decades. They refer to different aspects of the phenomenon.
“Global warming” refers to the fact that the overall heat content of the earth’s atmosphere (and oceans) is increasing.
“Climate change” is the effect of that growing heat content.
