    I loved being in the marching band (award winning 6+ years in a row at state), but we didn’t have leather boots (small town). Had to wear white tennis shoes, painted with white shoe polish so they looked ‘crisp’.

    Spent lots of time in my younger years going to drum & bugle competitions. Spiffy uniforms!

    At most of our local high schools, military styled uniforms are very rarely worn if at all. We have one band that wears matching tee shirts and white shorts when they play. It’s too hot to wear the uniforms during the summer months. lol

    Sadly, she’s unable to afford First Corinthians, and has to settle for Second.

    @Jeff H

    If they make leather in Corinth, or made leather there, but most importantly, if the covers of dead tree type printed bibles are leather of the Corinthian style, then it makes perfect Agnesian sense. It would be near the page which says PRINTED BY ZONDERVAN PRESS.

    Since this will be a 4th of July parade…. there is a fairly good chance of sunshine. Doesn’t matter – rain or shine, those boots of any leather will be made for marching. And that’s what these boots will do, march all over you… (sorry – it slipped out )
