Maybe N means that what sounds like war was actually a celebration.

And what about commandments 16 – 100,000,000? Huh? You can pick and choose, you MUST follow all 100,000,000 commandments or you are HELL bound!!

I am surprised that the Huns celebrated Independence Day. They loathed anyone’s independence and tried their darndest to eliminate it.

There’s a neat story from ≈1812. Two small towns on the US/Canadian border were each given weapons and a store of gunpowder for national defense. Later, the Canadian town asked for a re-supply of powder. They explained the original supply had been used for fire works to help the Americans celebrate July 4th. Those are my kind of neighbors. :-)

AmyG, and HE used wash water to do it. Not sure the specific relevance here but the general symbolism is interesting.

So: Two guys are walking down the hill after the sermon, and one observes, “It wasn’t that the wine was great, or anything, but still… it was way better than the local water.” To which the second observed, “It reminded me of Welch’s Grape Juice!” [ I KNOW many of you protestants get that…. ]
