Gotta wonder, Ms. Simpson: how was Phoebe weird in Dakota’s point of view BEFORE she met Marigold?

You won’t see this bunch in grad school, Phoebe.

Tell them about Dakota’s Goblin that’ll level the weird field.

Its Lio and Stitch all over again.

When you are poor, you are weird. When you are rich, you are eccentric.

Apparently not having eyelashes is considered weird.

I’m just happy we can see Dakota again. It feels like it’s been a while.

People hate it when you make sense, Phoebe. It goes against the natural order of things.

Phoebe has a Unicorn friend. All of Dakota’s arguments are invalid.

To paraphrase the old punchline: “It’s childhood; who needs a reason?”

Agreed Phoebe.

Weird is in the mind of the beholder

I find that when one attempts to define the terms “weird” and “normal”, they end up with the same definition.Weird.

This is actually a partial rerun: the first 3 panels are the same as the March 10th strip, but the last panel is different.

Oddly, today looks like a re-draw of March 10th. The dialogue is very slightly different, and, while points-of-view and character placements appear to be the same, clothing, hair colours and styles have changed. Perhaps Ms. Simpson is demonstrating that Phoebe is persistent in her attempt to join in, but is always rebuffed.

Poor Phoebe! She’s likely to be eaten alive by postmodernists and other cannibals.
