Huey: No, I don't know... Man: Well, you're not a white male, aged 19-34, with no life and a really stupid costume. No offense. Huey: Absolutely none taken.

I don’t wear costumes, either, and, though a white male, I was 17 in 1977, so I think the age range is insufficient, as many of us who saw the first Star Wars Movie (Episode IV) in the theater when it came out are well out of the 19-34 year old range.

No one was wearing costumes in “77”, that is when the first film came out. But by the second of the original trilogy, that is when the cosplayers came out.
