Get a grip, “Gretchens”… it’s a cartoon!!! The animals on here also drive, work in construction, cook in the kitchen, go shopping, etc.
You think it’s bad here…. there’s a comic strip where BIRDS serve lunch at a greasy spoon, hold political office, do mechanical work on automobiles, and run a newspaper!!
Years ago I was reading some Aristotle on the concept of causation. He gave various examples of things that cause other things, and one of them was “Walking causes health”. I was stunned. Twenty-five hundred years ago this was known!
Of course, Aristotle was famous for lecturing while walking around.
It’s just a very nice cartoon, maybe to remind us of other things to do than sit in front of a T.V. and sleep. I happened to really like this one, G.B.!! (Gary Brookins)
