I mean, how much do you make to keep the masses ignorant and stagnate the mental growth of the youth to ensure they never rebel against the system? Basically, what is the going rate for your soul? Mr. Petto: 32,625 dollars and 27 cents a year, before taxes. Huey: Well, enjoy your ill-gotten riches while you can - the day of reckoning fast approaches.

and here we are 15 years later and teachers salaries, at least here in Texas remain pretty close to what they were then.According to at least one d**k head in the Texas Lege, the reason teachers salaries remain so low in Texas is because teaching is apparently mostly a womans job and her husband will be making the big bucks, so the teachers salary can therefore be regarded as just an allowance for the little woman
